Change date for PMP Exam: January
The last date for the current PMP exam change has been moved to 11 January 2016.
The PMP exam pattern was to change on 01 November 2015. To allow all stakeholders more time to prepare for the updated Project Management Professional(r) exam, the date was moved to 11 January 2016.
A recently completed Role Delineation Study has (RDS) provided an updated description for the project management role. To validate the latest domains, tasks and knowledge, a large-scale survey was conducted among global Project Management Professional (PMP(r)) certification holders. The RDS provides perspectives from project management professionals from all industries, work settings, regions. It is the foundation of the PMP exam and ensures that it remains relevant and valid.
What will the impact of PMP be?
The PMP’s five domains of practice remain the same. Each domain has had its tasks modified, added or removed.
