OnlinePMCourses is run by Mike Clayton, a project management expert and author of several books. Mike explained to me about his course that the idea was to make the workshops and training available online.
This is a very common trend in project management training. We want excellent tutors, but we don’t have the budget to pay Mike for one-on-one coaching. Online training is the best option.
Personalised feedback from your tutor
OnlinePMCourses training is unique because you can interact directly with your trainer. This is not a study-in isolation program. However, it can be adapted to your learning style. Mike is determined to give you the support you need to make this course a success. He has included a comments section for each module. Ask Mike a question and he will get back to your.
It is Mike at the moment. There are no 24/7 virtual assistants pretending to be project managers. If Mike is on vacation, you won’t get an immediate answer. I was able to get an answer in less than an hour when I tried this process. Although I may have been lucky, it is clear that he cares about the students who are taking his courses.

The Secret Success Formula for Project Managers. A 10-week email course with exercises and downloads. This course is appropriate for those who have never had to manage projects before. If you have experience in project management, I wouldn’t recommend this job. It’s a great way to learn more about the role of project manager and decide if it’s a career choice.
The Project Manager’s Fast Start program. This program is equivalent to one day of live training and contains over 25 videos. This product is an entry-level product that will help you quickly manage projects. It’s ideal for those who don’t have to be project managers full-time, but still need to know how to manage projects. This one has a lot of advantages. It includes over 10 templates that will help you kickstart your project. Mike made it easy to get started.
The Project Manager’s Skills Mastery Course. This program includes over 50 videos and 30 templates. It contains 6 hours of content. Although it claims to offer 7 PMI PDUs, it is aimed at serious project managers who are not yet PMP(r). This course is a great complement to your CAPM(r), if you are looking to align it with the PMI certification structure. This is not a PMI prep course. It’s a course that teaches you skills that will help you manage projects.
The Project Manager’s Immersion Program. This package includes 4 days of classroom training. It is packed with a lot of information. It took me a while to read through it all. It contains over 50 templates. This is a comprehensive offering that covers all aspects of project management.
